Toray Films Europe has developed 2-ply lamination solutions, allowing a simplification of laminates, as illustrated below:<\/p>\n

Compared to traditional 3-ply lamination, it is a\u00a0time saving<\/strong>\u00a0solution that eases the manufacturing process since you remove at least one layer and a lamination step. The use of a varnish that can be applied during the printing phase simplifies the process and replaces the usual PET film for ink protection.<\/p>\n

This alternative solution offers the same performances as the 3-ply along with a\u00a0time-efficient and cost-effective process<\/strong>.\u00a0Indeed, 2-ply lamination enables the use of a both metallized function on the barrier side of the film and printable function on the other side of the same film.<\/p>\n

Claryl\u00ae HABP is a metallized printable PET film with a proprietary adhesion technology layer that increases the\u00a0metal adhesion<\/strong>\u00a0to ensure a good lamination strength between the PE and PET film.<\/p>\n

It offers a\u00a0high gas barrier<\/strong>\u00a0as well as\u00a0high protection against natural and UV light<\/strong>; thus, providing an extended packaging shelf life to your product and protecting the content against lights that can alter its appearance.\u00a0It also provides a high thermal stability.<\/p>\n

Our Claryl\u00ae HABP allows\u00a0good ink adhesion in severe conditions<\/strong>. The inks are to be protected by a varnish for external application.<\/p>\n

It is available in 12\u00b5m.<\/p>\n

Additionally, it allows the\u00a0reduction of the white ink coverage<\/strong>\u00a0during printing process. The inks are to be protected by a varnish for external application.<\/p>\n

It is available in 12\u00b5m, 23\u00b5m and 36\u00b5m.<\/p>\n
