Today, Toray Films Europe is pleased to announce a new step in the downgauging of Claryl\u00ae PET films. <\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Toray Films Europe is the <strong>only one PET film manufacturer <\/strong>in Europe to <strong>produce<\/strong> a <strong>6\u00b5m metallised PET film<\/strong>, with an <strong>in-house metallisation<\/strong>. This new 6 \u00b5m Claryl\u00ae metallised film will allow a <strong>reduction<\/strong> of the <strong>thickness<\/strong> of the film but also a <strong>reduction<\/strong> of the <strong>quantity of waste<\/strong>.\u00a0 By being able to deliver this film, Toray <strong>reduces by half<\/strong> the <strong>part of plastic<\/strong> in the packaging, from a standard at 12\u00b5m to 6\u00b5m.
