The market actors agreed to find more responsible alternatives. Among them, the use of refillable packaging, the reduction of the amount of used quantity and even the consideration of using biomaterials.<\/p>\n

The trade union of this sector (FEBEA<\/a>) aims at lowing the ecological impact of packaging by targeting by\u00a0a reduction of 15% of the plastic quantity by 2025,\u00a0 an incorporation between 10 and 25% of recycled plastic and also\u00a0a reuse of 20% of the materials (refill, bulk products).[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text css_animation=”fadeInDown”]L\u2019Oreal keeps using plastic in its packaging while promoting mechanical and chemical recycling of it. They currently integrate 19% of recycled plastic in their packaging, targeting 50% by 2025 and 100% in 2030. In the recycling stream, they clearly proclaim PET, PP, PE as the best options for technically recycled packaging.<\/p>\n

The regulatory framework for packaging is currently heterogeneous on markets.
