Torayfan\u00ae 8 F10 is a clear asymmetric polypropylene (BOPP) film with one treated side designed to meet the needs of the bitumen waterproofing membrane roofing.<\/p>\n

Toray engineered this film to optimize the unwinding process of the flexible membrane during installation.
\nIt is also suitable for board lamination.<\/p>\n

The Torayfan\u00ae 8 F10 has two main characteristics:
\n\u2022<\/span> On one side, it shows a strong direct and lasting adhesion <\/strong>to the bituminous membrane thanks to the proprietary adhesion technology.
\n\u2022<\/span> On the other side, a release effect gives the film low adhesion properties, therefore preventing bitumen from sticking when rolled up and allowing easy unwinding<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Another innovation is the unusual thickness<\/strong> of the film, which is lower than conventional solutions<\/strong>, without compromising its performance.<\/p>\n

The film melts as the bitumen is burnt with a torch, as illustrated below:<\/p>\n
