At Toray Films Europe, we continue to innovate and develop solutions to meet customer needs. As we expand our product portfolio to meet these needs we have decided to re-categorise our products into 3 product families, namely: Toray-Shine, Toray-Slim and Toray-Shield.
Torayfan® Toray-SHINE
Under the Toray-Shine category we show case our metalised products which includes high barrier, low seal initiation temperature, high seal strength, stable CoF and standard metalised products. This group of products offers a premium look coupled with outstanding performance characteristics to satisfy the requirements in many single web and laminate applications.

Torayfan® Toray-SLIM
In September 2020, we shared a communication with regards to our new thinner gauge products that we were developing. Our goal was to offer alternatives in existing and new structures/applications where the percentage of filmic product being utilized can be reduced and potentially alleviate some plastic tax burden.
Torayfan® Toray-SHIELD
Under the Toray-Shield category we show case our enhanced clear barrier products. For certain markets some products require additional shielding in defined conditions to protect and extend the shelf-life and avoid product spoilage throughout the chain of use. Our films provide different functionality by providing barriers to moisture, gases and aroma without the use of PVDC. We have also tailored our designs to offer a low seal initiation temperature to widen the operating on flow-wrap machines.
